MY STORY

Hello,
I’m Olivia
A formal music bio seems so odd to me. It feels like all I do is write, and I write really personal stuff. So, if you want to know about me you should check out my music. But here’s a few things that may not be in my songs.

I’m Minnesota born, raised… and cold. I started singing and songwriting the second I could talk. I didn’t choose to love music like this- it has always been a part of me. I got my first guitar when I was in seventh grade and I taught myself. I’m still not very good, but I know enough to write my songs.

Music is the only thing that has ever made any sense to me.

I feel very lucky to have the life that I have had, but my brain gets a little dark and scary sometimes. There’s days where I feel like my body isn’t mine- where nothing is mine- but I feel so deeply connected to the stuff that I write and it makes me feel like everything might just turn out okay.

And finally, I just want to share what I have to make anyone feel anything. I want people to know they aren’t alone, maybe get a good cry out, or maybe even dance in your car a little.
